Valid 111200Z - 121200Z

Fire weather concerns will be low today as fuels across the CONUS
generally are unfavorable. Some areas of dry fuels still exist
across parts of northern and central CA. North-northeasterly deep
layer flow will be in place across this area today as an upper ridge
builds northeast into the Pacific Northwest and an upper low becomes
increasingly cut off across southern CA into the adjacent Pacific
waters. At the surface, high pressures will strengthen over the
northern Great Basin while a surface trough persists along the
Pacific coast. As a result, some light north/northeasterly winds
will impact parts of the Sacramento Valley vicinity. The lack of
stronger winds will preclude fire weather concerns.
