Areas affected...northern Florida...southeast Georgia...and eastern
South Carolina

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 164...

Valid 122023Z - 122230Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 164
continues.

SUMMARY...Local severe risk continues across parts of the WW --
particularly over east-central Georgia and adjacent southern South
Carolina over the next hour or so.

DISCUSSION...Storms across WW 164 have remained generally more
disorganized than earlier in the day, as the earlier bowing cluster
has largely lost its identity. While storms have begun moving off
the southeast Georgia coast, the strongest/remnant storms are
ongoing just west of the southeastern Georgia/southern South
Carolina border. Here, limited severe risk may continue/spread
across southern South Carolina over the next hour or two.

Elsewhere, convection has decreased below severe levels and/or moved
out of the watch, with only limited risk for any local severe
weather.
