Areas affected...Northern and eastern Kentucky and far southwest
Ohio

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 334...

Valid 060013Z - 060115Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 334
continues.

SUMMARY...A cluster of storms in northern Kentucky has congealed
into somewhat of a bowing structure. This will pose a damaging wind
threat as it moves southeastward toward eastern Kentucky. In
addition, isolated supercells ahead of this activity in eastern
Kentucky will continue to pose a threat for large hail and damaging
winds.

DISCUSSION...Storms in northern Kentucky have congealed into a
bowing segment which is starting to accelerate southeastward toward
eastern Kentucky. Storms farther west along this line of storms have
been mostly outflow dominant, however, the orientation of the
convection in north central Kentucky, in relation to the deep-layer
shear vector, should be more favorable for cold pool balance.
Therefore, there is a potential for an organized bowing segment of
severe wind with this portion of the line, especially in the next 2
hours before the boundary layer begins to cool and stabilize.

A few supercells in eastern Kentucky may continue for another hour
or two but should weaken as the boundary layer stabilizes.
