Areas affected...Portions of east-central/southeastern OK into far
northeast TX and western AR

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 399...

Valid 190808Z - 190915Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 399
continues.

SUMMARY...Damaging severe winds will continue across Severe
Thunderstorm Watch 399. It remains unclear in downstream watch will
be needed into western AR.

DISCUSSION...A well organized bowing line over southeastern OK will
continue moving quickly eastward around 45-50 kt. Many recent
measured severe wind gusts of 60-70 mph and related thunderstorm
wind damage have occurred. Current expectations are for the line of
storms to gradually weaken as it encounters increasing convective
inhibition across far southeastern OK into western AR. But, damaging
winds remain likely in the short term (next hour or so). Additional
downstream watch issuance into parts of western AR will probably not
be needed so long as storms slowly weaken. Regardless, radar trends
and observed surface wind gusts will continue to be closely
monitored.
