Areas affected...Portions of west-central into central NE

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 506...

Valid 130448Z - 130545Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 506
continues.

SUMMARY...Isolated strong to severe wind gusts will remain possible
in the short term with a line of storms moving east-northeastward
into central NE.

DISCUSSION...A small bowing cluster of storms will continue
developing into north-central NE over the next hour or so. Multiple
reports of damage occurred with this convection in North Platte NE,
with a couple recent measured wind gusts of 57 and 62 mph
respectively in central NE. Radar imagery shows outflow has surged
ahead of the strongest reflectivities. With weak shear remaining
across this region, a gradual weakening trend should occur with
eastward extent into central NE as convective inhibition slowly
strengthens. However, isolated strong to severe winds should remain
possible in the short term (next hour or two) given the moderate to
strong instability that exists downstream of the ongoing line.
