The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Extreme northwestern Minnesota
  Parts of northern and eastern North Dakota

* Effective this Sunday night and Monday morning from 1120 PM
  until 700 AM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
    inches in diameter possible
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...Elevated thunderstorms will likely increase in an
east-west band and move southeastward overnight across central and
eastern North Dakota, potentially reaching northwestern Minnesota
during the early morning hours.  The initial storms, some of which
could be supercells, will pose a threat for large hail and damaging
winds.  The damaging wind threat could increase some with storm
clustering overnight.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60
statute miles north and south of a line from 60 miles north of
Dickinson ND to 30 miles northeast of Fargo ND. For a complete

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce


AVIATION...A few severe thunderstorms with hail surface and aloft to
2 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A
