URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 514 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 830 PM CST Tue Nov 24 2020 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Western Arkansas Northwest Louisiana Southeast Oklahoma Northeast Texas * Effective this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning from 830 PM until 200 AM CST. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...A line of thunderstorms over southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas continues to intensify this evening, with a few storms reaching severe limits. Conditions suggest this activity could continue to pose a risk of damaging wind gusts and hail for a few more hours across the watch area. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles north northeast of Fort Smith AR to 85 miles south of Paris TX.
